Ather settled herself onto the ground, after having spent about ten minutes clearing a spot for herself on the ground. It'd been a long, hard day. First, she'd broken her favorite bracelet, she'd forgotten Charms homework, spilled ink on her shirt, and then she was so flustered that she couldn't even answer the question to get into her common room. It was only after she'd burst into hot, angry tears that one of her house mates had come by and opened the door for her. She made a mental note that boys became scared of a girl in tears. After that she'd ripped the arm off of her favorite shirt, tripped and banged her head on her trunk, had almost stepped on Jinx, her Siamese cat, and had been clawed by Snow, her white falcon, when she tried to take the letter off of her leg. So, in short her day had sucked major ass.
She'd changed into a non-discript black tank top and a pair of baggy, faded jeans and hadn't even bothered with shoes. What was the point? It wasn't like she was going too far, she wasn't planning on hunting, she just wanted to sit down and watch the water flow, and try to calm herself down. And so far it wasn't working. She glared out at the water, mentaly throwing every curse word she could think of at it. Why wasn't it working?! She needed to be calm and she needed to be calm now, damn it!!
It wasn't until after the ringing had left her ears and the birds took off from surrounding trees that she realized that she'd yelled the last part aloud. She chuckled weakly, though no one was there to watch the hot blush rise across her face. In some ways it was good that no one was around. The state her mind was in wouldn't allow her to control the dark side of herself, and quite frankly she didn't really want to talk to people, they'd just ask stupid questions or she'd get flustered again and burst into tears. Again. Ather sighed and tried to relax. Relaxation, how hard could it be?

Dominique snuck into the forest on her own making sure no one was watching.. Even the gameskeeper. She wanted to visit the Threastrals by herself. They're harmless creatures to her and they are not a threat. She loved them very much and visited them every other day and today something told her to go on her own.
She thought that she might get in trouble but Hey at least she gets to visit them alone.
On her way her blue school bag was on her small shoulder with a pecie of meat in it. She had one Thestral that she always gave some meat to when the others weren't watching. She didn't want to make them jealous or anything.
Dominique's bare feet began to get cold but she ignored it. She really wanted to see the Threastrals.
