“Damn it! Will someone please let me out of here?!”
Usually the professor would not use profanity, but she was quite perturbed. What made this even more obvious was that she let out a heavy sigh and a frustrated growl from behind the door of the broom cupboard. She beat against the door a few more times in hopes that someone would hear her and help her out. She had tried many times to unlock the door and to force it out of the way, but there was no avail. The door would not give in to her spell-casting, no matter what spells she performed. She wasn’t just using alohomora, either; she was using a few advanced spells. The funny thing about it all was that absolutely nothing was working.
“What the hell…” she said lowly and leaned her head against the door. She sighed heavily and closed her eyes tightly, wondering whether or not she was stuck in a nightmare of some kind. When she opened her eyes to see darkness again, she let out a groan and flicked her wand without saying another word. A light illuminated its tip and filled the small broom cupboard. She glanced around. Surrounding her was a conglomeration of things: brooms, mops, cleaning supplies. She sighed.
How did she end up in that cupboard anyway? The only thing she could remember was walking down the third floor corridor, humming as she did so. When she reached a door to which she had no idea where it went, the door suddenly swung open, and she was thrown, seemingly by force, into the broom cupboard. She had fallen upon the brooms, mops, buckets, and other supplies with an oomph and a slight gasp of pain and surprise. When she managed to stand on her feet and find the doorknob, she rubbed the back of her head and ran her fingers through her curls.
“Man…” she said to herself and whined a bit. She started to beat on the door once again. “Hello?! Is there anyone out there?! Can someone help me?! Pleeeeaaaaseee?” She let out a faint laugh at herself. She knew that she probably sounded pathetic from the inside of a broom cupboard. But it really wasn’t her fault… it was something else’s fault… Whose or what’s fault she had no idea… but it wasn’t hers--that was for sure.
ooc;; for the sake of argument, this thread is in some random broom cupboard on the third floor.

Lorelei was walking down the hallway, quite honestly minding her own business, which was rather unusual for her. She felt different today. She didn't feel like pulling anything... well, anything too bad, anyways. She was actually on her way downstairs to the dungeon after a whole day of locking herself in the library, studying, another odd occurence to her. Her dad was not happy about her grades, and she didn't want to return home with poor marks to be reprimanded about it the entire summer.
So yeah, Lorelei was on one of her rare "good girl streaks", as her friends liked to refer to these seldom few days. But trouble didn't stay away from her long. She was passing a small broom cupboard. C'mon, it's a broom closet, how much trouble can it get a girl into? But Lorelei could find trouble in anything. And as she walked by this seemingly harmless broom closet, that probably hardly anyone went into, she heard a pounding... and a whiny adult voice.
Lorelei smiled to herself. A whiny adult, possiby one of the many teachers who tortured Lorelei on a day to day basis, was stuck in a broom closet. How good could this possibly get? The woman in the closet sounded desprate, like she'd been stuck for quite a time. Lorelei couldn't pass this opportunity up. She just couldn't.
Lorelei was her name, torment was her game. She approached the wooden door, to hear the woman better, and said. "Hey! Are you stuck?" She figured she'd play dumb for a little bit, and then up and leave. Give her a little taste of hope and then take off running with it. This would be great, and anonymous, too, so she didn't have to worry about getting in some (more) trouble.

The professor had been standing strangely with half her body facing one way and the other half of her body facing another way. She turned herself slightly and made herself more comfortable in the small space that she had to actually move around. In doing so, her foot hit against one of the buckets on the floor, which caused a chain of things to happen. It was like knocking a line of dominoes over. She had hit the bucket, the bucket at hit a few brooms and mops, and then fell over and hit her, their wooden handles hitting against her head.
“Ouch,” she said in discontent and shoved the brooms and mops off of her so that they hit against the opposite wall. The force she had used to throw the brooms and mops against the wall had been used to throw them back at her a second time. They hit her upside her forehead. “Ouch!” she said a bit louder than she had before. “What the…” She let out a growl of frustration and flicked her wand so that the light went out. She then flicked it at the objects in the cupboard.
“Reducio,” she said. The objects shrunk to be the size of a children’s toy. She grinned some and kicked them to a corner of the cupboard and sighed heavily, crossing her arms over her chest, her wand still being grasped tightly in her right hand. She could not believe that she had been thrown into some small and smelly broom cupboard by some unknown force.
She let out a sigh of what appeared to be relief. At least she had some room and could breathe now. Come to think of it, she was feeling a little bit claustrophobic due to the small amount of space she had. Shaking her head, she brushed some of her brunette curls from her face and tucked them behind her ear.
It was then that she heard a voice coming from somewhere outside. She leaned her head against the door and listened carefully to what was being said. The feminine voice seemed to be close, but it could have been Maria’s hopefulness to finally get out of the cupboard.
“Yes…?” she said somewhat loudly, almost uncertain of what she was saying. She wanted someone to come save her and get her out of the broom cupboard. What she didn’t want was for that someone to be an irritable person who would yell at her for being in the cupboard; it wasn’t her fault! “ I’m stuck … and I‘ve tried everything I can think of….”

Lorelei could not help but start to sblack person when she heard the teacher falling around in the closet. She tried her best to contain it, she really did, but a small short snort came out as her hand flew to cover her nose and mouth. She heard the teacher bang around in there a few more seconds before finally getting fed up and shrinking everything in the closet.
Suddenly the professor was talking back to her, sounding really desperate and really, really anxious to get out of there. "Oh, really? You've tried everything? That must really suck!" Lorelei said with false sympathy. She knew she wasn't even going to attempt to open the door, but just to give her a false sense of hope, Lorelei jiggled the handle of the door and muttered a few spells without her wand, making it sound like she was trying to cast spells. "Sorry!" she said after a few moments. She could barely keep the amusement out of her voice. "I can't seem to get it open. Guess you're stuck in there..."
