-All forum rules apply.
-If submissions such as fanfiction or fanart contain adult content, display the proper warnings within the description. If it is an image, post a link to the image, and not the actual image.
-Submissions turned in after the deadlines of contests will be ignored.
-Don't get mad if you don't win. Be a fair sport. And never steal work from someone. Plagiarism and theft are unacceptable.
-Questions about contests are to be asked here and not in the contest threads.
Have fun!

G = 5+ Content suitable for most ages. Intended for general audience 5 years and older. Content should be free of any coarse language, violence, and adult themes.
PG = 9+ Some content may not be suitable for young children. Suitable for more mature childen, 9 years and older, with minor action violence without serious injury. May contain mild coarse language. Should not contain any adult themes.
PG-13 = 13+ Contains content not suitable for children. Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with some violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes.
R = 16+ Contains content suitable for mature teens and older. Not suitable for children or teens below the age of 16 with possible strong but non-explicit adult themes, references to violence, and strong coarse language.
NC-17 = 17+ Contains explicit content for mature adults only. Content is only suitable for mature adults. May contain explicit language and adult themes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Adult themes" means sexual scenes. An explicit adult theme provides details on the sexual activity in the story (such as describing people having sex, masturbating, or fantasizing) and that is strictly prohibited. (It's "smut.") At PG-13, you may suggest sexual things and mention minor details, but you may not turn it into smut or submit any questionable material. However, you must remember to keep everything within forum rules.
In contests, you may only go up to PG-13. If you submit an entry that should be labeled R, you will be warned and you will be allowed to make adjustments before you re-submit your entry. If you try to submit an entry that should be rated NC-17, it will be taken down immediately and you will be banned from all contests in the future.
