Lorelei woke up too extremely early that warm Monday morning. It wasn't going to be her day, she already could tell. She hated bright sunny days, and this was one of them. She noticed that everyone in her dorm was already gone, and she supposed that she better get out of bed. She left it undone and grabbed a longsleeved black shirt and a pair of short short short dark blue denim shorts. She ran a brush through her dark hair very quickly and pulled it into a low ponytail. She didn't bother with makeup.
She made her way up to the ground floor from the dungeons and walked past the Great Hall, smelling the contents of the breakfast tables. The scent made her stomach curn for some reason and she had to turn away. She was usually always hungry, because of her fast metabolism, but today, she couldn't stomach food. She quickly left the hallway and wandered outside.
The sun really was bright this morning. It beat down on her pale face with no mercy. She let her feet tell her where to go, and she ended up in the courtyard. It was a little random, sure, but she didn't mind. As long as she could smell fresh air and not be closed in, even if it was sunny out here, she didn't care. She sat cross-legged on the ground and stared out into space.

So far, Adrienne had been having an okay morning. She had woken up at a decent hour, and quickly gotten changed into a pair of black sweatpants and a white v-neck t-shirt. She had quickly grabbed a matching jacket before heading out the door. Her makeup had been done quickly and without much thought, so she had on only foundation and some gold eyeshadow.
She had enjoyed breakfast, even though she hadn't had much of it. She had more-so quickly gulped down some toast and eggs, and then gone to be outside. She was used to the bright sun after having lived in Brazil for so many years. After having left, s he didn't enjoy the sun as much as she used to, and actually tended to prefer darker hours. But the chill of autumn caused for outside to be not so bad.
After leaving the Great Hall, and then the Entrance Hall, Adrienne found herself outside and in the courtyard. At this hour, it was virtually deserted, except for one other person. She looked vaguely familiar, and Adrienne was trying to recall where she had seen her face before. It then occured to her that this girl was in the same house as she was.
Adrienne determined that the worst that could happen would be if this girl was a total bitch to Adrienne, and Adrienne was used to wrose.
Adrienne walked up to the girl, keeping a good amount of distance between them, and then said "Mind if I join you?"

Lorelei looked up and stared at the girl, trying to place her, but she couldn't really. She vaguely remembered the face, but definitely not the name. The girl, who was older than her, perhaps only by a year, asked if she could sit with Lorelei. Lorelei nodded absentmindedly and gestured to the grass next to her. She wasn't in the mood to be mean. She didn't have enough energy for it. Lorelei hugged her knees to her chest and sighed. She supposed she'd better start convorsation with her or else be thought of as some freak. She looked over at the girl and tried to smile, but it came out more like a girmace. "Hi." she said. "Uhm... I'm Lorelei. You'e in Slytherin, right?" Lorelei knew that this was a pathetic attempt at starting a convorsation, but she really couldn't care less at the moment. She wasn't in the mood for people, but she wasn't in the mood for fighting, and that was a bit of a perdicament for her.
Seeing as Lorelei was in a pissy mood, she shook her hair out of the ponytail and let it hang in her face. She hadn't taken a shower this morning so she felt kind of gross. She let the darkness of her curtain envelop her, blocking out the sunlight and giving her sensitive eyes some peace.

Adrienne sat down next to the girl, glad she hadn't decided to be testy. Adrienne didn't really feel like getting in a fight today. Adrienne quickly pulled her hair up in a high ponytail, and without a mirror she was unsure whether or not it looked good, but she wasn't really trying to impress anyone.
At the girls words she learned that her name was Lorelei, and Adrienne decided it would be polite to introduce herself back. "I'm Adrienne. And yea, I'm in slytherin. You are too, right? I think I've seen you in the common room."
OOC: Sorry for the short post. I have no muse. =(
